MEET LUCY!

'Lady Blanc de Noir, Foxy Lucille' is her 'official' name, we call her Lucy.

Lucy joined our family as a companion for Dudley the Scottish Terrier. She was 10 weeks old and weighed only 2 pounds but had a ton of personality. Dudley taught her to be feisty. Lucy played with him as if she were a Scottie herself. Tug-of-war games were almost a daily occurence. Dudley, being the good big brother that he was let Lucy win most of the time.

After Dudley passed and two Greyhounds came into the picture, Lucy became their 'big sister'. She always has to lead the way on our walks in order to protect them--barking at strange dogs or people as if to say; "don't get too close to my baby sisters". She seems to know that the hounds are younger, therefore putting Lucy in charge. Whenever the Greys drink from 'her' water dish Lucy insists that we change the water immediately. She will tap on the metal dish (loudly) with her paw and GLARE at us until we give her fresh water.

One of our products, the Short Stix, bears Lucy's name. However when the Greys are given one of our foot long treats Lucy insists that she be given one also-she will accept nothing less. She can barely get down the stairs to her bed with the stik held tightly in her little mouth but some how she manages. We can hear the stik clunking along the bannister on each descending stair.

But then this is our Lucy; the big sister AND the boss of two Greyhounds.
